Steve Harvey is expanding his much sought after mentoring weekend (Oct. 7-9) to the Jacob Javits Center in New York City.
The event will include mentorship opportunities for 100 young men who are without involved fathers. Workshops and activities will help teens navigate through the challenges in life with a bit more ease and understanding. They will also learn how to dress professionally and become competitive in the workforce.
Participants will get the training and encouragement they need to build a strong foundation for a successful future. Special guests will bring their experience from entertainment and education to business and health.
Applicants must come form a single female-headed household in New York, New Jersey or Connecticut, be 13-18 years old and enrolled in high school. Candidates may be nominated or voluntary.
