CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –

The Salvation Army of Greater Cleveland is in dire need of food as an increase in demand has emptied shelves and depleted our resources to help the hungry.

They are in need of canned good donations including chili, stews, tuna fish, peanut butter, vegetables, soup, pasta, rice, and cereal. Donations of fresh meat, vegetables, and milk will also be gratefully accepted.

Stella Dilik, Development Director of The Salvation Army of Greater Cleveland says “The need is always there, it just seems more apparent at the holidays.” Anyone wishing to help can bring food donations to the following Salvation Army food distribution locations:

Hough Corps – 6000 Hough Avenue

Miles Park Corps – 4139 East 93rd Street

Ohio City Corps – 4402 Clark Avenue

Superior Corps – 9000 Superior Avenue

Temple Corps – 17625 Grovewood Avenue

West Park Corps –  12645 Lorain Avenue
