Anti-bullying activist Nadin Khoury spoke with MSNBC’s Thomas Roberts about being a victim of extensive bullying.

“It’s not fair for anybody that’s being bullied,” the 14-year old said. “It’s not right at all.

Khoury made headlines after a cell-phone video of him being bullied by a group of young students surfaced online. The video shows Khoury repeatedly being pushed and dragged on an icy ground.

Khoury told Roberts he is using his experience to help others and speak out against such violence.

Earlier this month, 14-year-old Jeremy Rodemeyer committed suicide after being bullied extensively for being gay.

Khoury was joined by his school headmaster, Dr. Kirk Hittinger of Wyncote Academy, who suggested the violence can end with more parent participation.

“If parents talk to kids and know what’s going on in their lives, that can make a huge difference,” he said. “Kids need to feel secure and safe.”
