Major League Baseball’s the Washington Nationals will be hosting their first ever “Faith Night” in Washington, D.C., on April 16, and widely acclaimed pastor Joel Osteen will be on hand to throw out the first pitch.

The event will take place at the newly opened National’s Park located in Southeast Washington, D.C. Osteen, lead pastor of Lakewood Church in Houston, and his wife will also be holding their annual national prayer event, “American’s Night of Hope,” on April 28 at Nationals Park.

Several church music groups will also be participating in “Faith Night,” including gospel singer Tanya Dallas-Lewis who will be preforming the national anthem.

Group tickets for the event are available at a discounted price and include a donation to the Washington Nationals Dream Foundation.

The Washington Nationals Dream Foundation is the team’s charity that works in partnership with other community organizations to provide funding for programs that offer assistance to improve the lives of under-serviced youth and families in our nation’s capital.
