W hitney Houston may soon need her own section at Barnes & Noble. Less than a week after it was revealed that Cissy Houston will write a detailed account of Whitney’s troubled life, the late singer’s close friend BeBe Winansannounces plans to release his own book on the subject. Winans, a gospel singer who sang at Whitney’s funeral, will call his book The Whitney I Knew. The memoir is due in bookstores on July 31st. The book promises what is described as “heart-breaking accounts that led to her ultimate defeat.” It will also include photos of the singer never released to the public. BeBe is also set to release his new album, entitled America, America, next week.
