Gaiam Vivendi Entertainment, Inc., announced that Woman Thou Art Loosed!: On the 7th Day, starring Blair Underwood, Sharon Leal, Pam Grier and Nicoye Banks, will release on Blu-Ray, DVD and Digital on September 4. Woman Thou Art Loosed!: On the 7th Day is the second project in T.D. Jakes’ eponymous “Woman Thou Art Loosed!” franchise.

Woman Thou Art Loosed!: On the 7th Day is a mysterious and compelling narrative in which elements of love, suspense, faith and redemption serve as the backdrop to one unimaginable and life-altering experience for one couple who seem to have it all.
David (Underwood) and Kari (Leal) Ames seem to have the perfect life until their young daughter is kidnapped, and over the course of seven days they begin to uncover secrets about their past that threatens to destroy their marriage and divide their lives. As they race against time to find their child, who is believed to have been abducted by a serial killer that symbolically murders his victims ‘On the 7th Day,’ a series of secrets unveil a troubling past, putting their marriage and their future in jeopardy.
Woman Thou Art Loosed!: On the 7th Day is directed by award-winning filmmaker Neema Barnette, produced and distributed by Codeblack Enterprises and executive produced by T.D. Jakes for T.D.J Enterprises.
Surpassing industry expectations, the Barnette film earned $6,376 per screen beating “The Hunger Games” finishing as the #1 independent feature its opening weekend.

The film has a run time of 101 minutes and is rated PG-13 for Sexuality, Drug and Alcohol Content, Mature Thematic Material, Language and Violence. Priced at $29.95 (BD) and $19.97 (DVD), Woman Thou Art Loosed!: On the 7th Day will be available at major retailers and online wherever DVD’s are sold.
