The co-host of ABC’s “The View” and author of Plan D: How to Lose Weight and Beat Diabetes (Even If You

Don’t Have It), says all you have to do is make simple lifestyle changes to get in better shape.

So stop telling yourself it’s harder than it is.

Now, there are two areas you’re going to have to focus on: exercising and eating healthier, which is the

advice Sherri doled out during her recent interview on “The Rickey Smiley Morning Show.”

“You know, you have to incorporate more fruits and vegetables and I mean when I say vegetables, not

smothered with Velveeta cheese. It’s vegetables,” she said, condemning the practice of loading would-be

healthy foods with bad-for-you toppings.
