Cleveland City Council’s Safety Committee held the first of four neighborhood meetings Thursday, allowing citizens to voice their concerns regarding issues with the Cleveland Division of Police.

“How do you really investigate the police?,” one man asked before repeating the question.

Another citizen said he has seen a “comply or die” attitude from police that needs to change.

“What would Jesus do?,” asked one woman. “We have to love one another.”

The second session is scheduled from Tuesday, December 30 from 6-8 p.m., at Sagrada Familia church on 7719 Detroit Ave.

Councilman Matt Zone, chairman of the Safety Committee, said he will schedule two more sessions in January. Dates, times, and locations will be released at a later dare.
