Effective Sunday, March 1, spring service changes take effect as RTA begins to prepare for the closing of Public Square.
A total of 33 bus routes will have relocated stops and changed routes.
When the closure actually happens on a date to be determined in March, Ontario Street and Superior Avenue through Public Square will be closed to all traffic.
RTA says, generally, passengers will be directed to use the closest available stops outside the Square.
Buses that would normally travel along Superior and/or Ontario will use the perimeter roads to travel around the construction zone.
