Switching Lanes follows the story of two girls (Kaneesha and Sarah) who live in the ‘separate-but-equal’ town of Sumerton. Bound together by their love of track and field,the two girl form a friendship in spite of the racial tension in their community. Through a series of events, Kaneesha and Sarah soon discover that they have much more in common than they ever could’ve imagined
