He claims he’s just a kid from Akron, but to Northeast Ohio, LeBron James has become much more.
He brought Cleveland its first championship in 52 years. He ended the sadness and heartbreak that our grandparents and parents have endured for decades. He gave us The Block to diminish the bitter taste that The Shot, The Drive and The Fumble left in our mouths. He gave us a reason to spend the summer making endless “The Warriors blew a 3-1 lead” jokes.
And most importantly, he gives back to the community, through his time, charity and love for Northeast Ohio.
Join us in wishing James a happy 32nd birthday..
