Trump To Release ‘Hard Power Budget’ With Cuts To State Dept, EPA:

The Trump administration will add detail to its plan to slash the federal budget Thursday morning, releasing its “America First” budget outline.

The blueprint will feature the broad strokes of President Donald Trump’s plan to dramatically remake the federal government, according to previews provided by administration officials. It includes plans to slash spending at everything from the State Department and the Environmental Protection Agency to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, while boosting spending at the Pentagon.

Mick Mulvaney, Trump’s director of the Office of Management and Budget, described the budget as a “hard power budget” during with a Wednesday briefing with reporters, meaning the Trump administration will prioritize defense spending over diplomacy and foreign aid.

Federal Judges Block Trump’s Travel Ban:

BREAKING NEWS: A federal judge in Maryland has temporarily blocked the 90-day ban on immigration for citizens of six countries in President Donald Trump’s executive order.

Although the ban was already restrained nationwide because of a ruling in Hawaii, the Maryland decision is another blow to Trump’s executive order.

Marines Issue New Social Media Guidelines After Nude Photo Scandal:

The Marine Corps issued new social media guidelines on Wednesday, after recent revelations that nude and explicit pictures of female service members had been posted online without their permission.

As military leaders scramble to track down those involved in publishing the photos, new details emerged about further proscribed online activity.
The investigation has now expanded to at least a dozen spinoff pages that posted the lewd images, and the Navy is now looking at the possibility that those involved in the activity included sailors from aircraft carriers and at major naval bases, a Navy official said.
Marine Corps Commandant Gen. Robert Neller signed the new social media guidelines in order to clarify that the military code of justice punishments that apply to social media sexual harassment are the same as those that apply to all other forms of sexual harassment.

70-Year-Old Woman Runs 7 Marathons On 7 Continents In 7 Days:

Running four marathons in five weeks wasn’t enough. Running 10 marathons in a year wasn’t enough. Running more than 70 marathons during her lifetime wasn’t enough.

Seventy-year-old Chau Smith wanted to challenge herself even further, so she decided to run seven marathons in seven days on seven continents. In January, the Missouri woman accomplished that goal.
Between January 25 and January 31, Smith ran marathons in Perth, Australia; Singapore; Cairo; Amsterdam; Garden City, New York; Punta Arenas, Chile; and King George Island, Antarctica. Each day, Smith woke up and ran 26.2 miles. Then she’d get on a plane and fly to the next destination to do it all over again.
