Google executives have responded to a 3,300-word manifesto written by one of its male engineers that argues women aren’t suited for tech jobs for “biological” reasons.

The document has been circulating inside Google (GOOG) for some time, but it was made public by Motherboard on Saturday. Recode and Gizmodo published the document in full.

Over the weekend, Google diversity vice president Danielle Brown and engineering VP Ari Balogh addressed the controversial document in separate messages to Google employees.

Brown and Balogh condemned the document’s assertions and defended Google’s diversity efforts.

US Secretary of State Tillerson: Russian Election Meddling ‘Created Serious Mistrust’:

The top US diplomat told his Russian counterpart that Moscow’s alleged meddling in the 2016 US election has seriously damaged the relationship between the two countries.

Speaking at the ASEAN Regional Forum in the Philippines Monday, US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said he told Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov that “meddling in the elections is certainly a serious incident.”

Trump Relatively Quiet On Opioid Crisis, Despite Campaign Vows:

President Donald Trump has visited West Virginia — one of the states hit hardest by the opioid crisis — twice in the last two weeks. Although his presidential commission on opioids urged him Monday to declare the epidemic a public health emergency, Trump has been relatively quiet on the issue.

“You have a big problem in West Virginia, and we are going to solve that problem,” Trump said at a rally Thursday night before moving on to rehash the 2016 presidential race.

Chris Pratt, Anna Faris Announce Separation:

Actors Chris Pratt and Anna Faris have filed for separation, according to statements posted on their official social media pages.

“Anna and I are sad to announce we are legally separating. We tried hard for a long time, and we’re really disappointed. Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward,” Pratt posted on his Facebook page. Pratt’s publicist confirmed the separation to CNN.

Dunkin’ Donuts Considers Rebranding As Just Dunkin’:

Dunkin’ Donuts, the popular doughnut and coffee house, will unveil a store this month inPasadena, California, that calls itself just Dunkin’. A few other Dunkin’-only stores will pop up later this year.

Dunkin’ Donuts owner Dunkin’ Brands (DNKN) said the company might make it official next year. That would mean dropping “Donuts” from its thousands of stores’ signage and its ad campaigns — but it hasn’t made a decision yet.
