Erica Campbell opened up on the latest episode of her We’re The Campbells TV show about suffering a miscarriage and attempting suicide when she was younger.
On the series that airs on TV One, Erica shared with her friend Lisa Winans how she and husband Warryn were trying to have a baby boy. So, when she found out she was pregnant, she was excited. Erica later found out it was a tubal pregnancy, and she eventually lost the baby.
“Once a mom finds out she’s having a baby, you fall in love with that baby before you even see it. And that’s the hardest part. The process of falling out of love.”
Erica, who is working on her first solo book, shared with Warryn that she had suicidal thoughts when she was 12.
“Something was telling me to just slice your wrist in the kitchen. I heard that voice, but I thank God for the prayer that was going on in my house, cause I knew not to do that.”
