For years, she was known as a prophetess, a best-selling author and a world-renowned vocalist with legions of international fans and followers. But in the summer of 2007, Juanita Bynum became the “new face of domestic violence” after a physical altercation with her then-husband, Bishop Thomas W. Weeks III, propelled her into the media spotlight.

Three years later, the former Trinity Broadcasting Network televangelist has picked up the pieces and is back recording music again. This time around, a brand-new opus, titled ‘The Diary of Juanita Bynum,’ is set for release at the top of 2011 via a partnership with Mathew Knowles‘ Music World Entertainment empire. On June 22, the eagerly anticipated single, ‘Soul Cry (Oh, Oh, Oh),’ will be released.
