CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –
Now is the time to get your flu shot.
If you don’t think the flu should be taken seriously, ask almost any emergency room doctor.
“Seasonal influenza is the most deadly microorganism in history.”
With that established there’s no explaining why so many people don’t get flu shots.
flu shots wear off and maybe even more important folks who got the flu last year are likely to get it again this year– that’s because last year’s virus is still the dominant micro organism.
So if you think it’s too early to get a flu shot the experts at Walgreens would disagree with you and their competitors across the street at Rite Aid would back them up.
With flu season typically peaking in mid-January and beginning in October, September can be the perfect time to get vaccinated.
